Responsible gambling

Every game here has a house edge. Over enough bets the house wins — that is arithmetic, not luck. These are the tools to keep it a game.

The maths, plainly

Each game's house edge is published on its own page and in the game info panel. A 1% edge means that, on average and over a long run, one penny of every pound staked does not come back. Staking more, or faster, does not change the edge — it only reaches the average sooner.

No betting pattern beats a negative expectation. Doubling after a loss does not; neither does stopping after a win. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.

Limits you can set

All of these are enforced on our servers, not in your browser, so they hold across devices and cannot be cleared by logging out.

  • Deposit limits — a ceiling per day, week or month. Increases take effect only after a cooling period; decreases apply immediately.
  • Loss limits — a cap on net losses over a period, after which betting stops until it resets.
  • Session reminders — a periodic note of how long you have been playing and where you stand.
  • Cool-off — a short break. Betting and depositing stop; you can still sign in to see your balance or withdraw.
  • Self-exclusion — a longer or permanent closure. Sign-in is blocked for the duration and the account cannot be reopened early, by us or by you.

Set or change a limit in your account settings.

Signs worth taking seriously

  • Betting more than you planned, or more than you can comfortably lose.
  • Playing to win back losses.
  • Borrowing money to play, or hiding how much you play.
  • Gambling to escape stress, boredom or low mood.
  • Feeling irritable or restless when you try to cut down.

Any of these is a reason to set a limit today rather than after the next session.

Getting help

Support is free, confidential and independent of us. The right service depends on where you live, and we would rather leave this blank than send you to the wrong country's helpline:

{{NATIONAL_HELPLINE_NAME}} {{NATIONAL_HELPLINE_NUMBER}} {{NATIONAL_HELPLINE_URL}}

Internationally, Gamblers Anonymous and GamCare both maintain directories of local services. We will list the correct services for our licensed markets here once that is settled.

Under 18

You must be 18 or over to hold an account. If you share a device, use your operating system's parental controls, and do not save your password in a browser other people use.
