Nightjar is a bitcoin casino built around one idea: you should not have to trust us about the outcome of a bet. Every result is committed cryptographically before you play and can be reproduced by you afterwards from seeds you partly control.

The games are ours. Their return is computed exactly rather than estimated — the published house edge is the number the maths actually produces, and the slot machines are proved against it by simulation. The fairness page explains the mechanism.

It proves the integrity of a result. It does not prove that we are solvent, that we are licensed, or that we will pay you. Those are separate questions and no amount of cryptography answers them.

Every withdrawal is approved by a person before it is paid. This is slower than an automated payout and it is deliberate: the alternative during beta is a hot wallet with automated signing, and we would rather be slow than be the next exchange that lost its keys. It does mean payouts are not instant.
